What's a brief?
One plan_change call: when your AI agent (Claude Code, Claude, Cursor) starts a task, Synapse tells it which files and lines to touch, the pattern to follow, the decisions not to break and the tests to run. Other Synapse tools, like why, don't count.
What happens when the briefs run out?
Nothing breaks. Your agent is told the month's briefs are used up and carries on the usual way, searching the repository itself. Briefs reset on the 1st of every month.
What are AI-checked answers?
When you ask Synapse a question, an AI model reads the matching code and points to the exact lines. On paid plans this runs on our paid AI account, which doesn't use your code to train models. When the month's checks run out, you still get Synapse's own answer. Your AI agent's briefs never use it.
Can I change plans?
Any time. Moving up starts at once, and the days left on your old plan count towards the new one. Moving down starts when your current 30 days end, so you keep what you paid for.
How does the trial work?
Every new workspace gets Team for 14 days, no card needed. When it ends, the workspace moves to Free and keeps its data. Upgrade any time to Pro or Team.
How do I pay?
Monthly, in rupees: the price you see is what you pay. Pay in Settings with UPI, cards or netbanking through Razorpay; one payment covers 30 days, renewals add up, and nothing is charged automatically. Prefer an invoice? Email us.
Is my code used to train AI?
Never. The GitHub App is read-only apart from the optional PR comment, every workspace is isolated, and you can delete everything at any time.
